🌜 About this position
Do you have an eye for detail and no bug escapes your virtual fly swatter? Is C/C++ development your passion and would you love to contribute to the most sleep-inducing product innovations? Then we are looking for you!
Within this position, you’re the forefront of our firmware development. You'll work closely within a multidisciplinary team of software developers (app, backend), a UX / UI Designer, a Researcher and a Hardware Engineer, to optimize the user experience of our products. Based on the input from the UX/UI designer, you set up the technical requirements (including testing) for the firmware. Then you implement this and realize new features resulting in a great user experience.
This is you:
- You know how to get things done
- You show leadership, you’re easily approachable and you’re a sparring partner to the rest of the team
- You’re a Problem Solver / Analytical
- You have 2-5 year experience of programming C, C++ and Object Oriented Programming
- You know your Git (preferably GitHub)
- You’re fluent in English
- Pré: Experience with ESP32, RTOS, Wifi and Bluetooth
- Pré: Knowledge of data analysis and filtering
💫 Your responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Engineer, who is experienced in drafting technical requirements and developing C and C++ applications.
You are responsible for taking the Somnox firmware to the next level in a structured way. You guarantee quality and you know how to quickly implement new features, so they can be tested.
In this position you will report directly to the CTO and you’ll carry responsibility on your own code. You won’t just work on a small piece of the product, but instead work on the product as a whole, from wifi/bluetooth connection to sensor data collection and everything in between. This means you’ll take responsibility, set the technical requirements and develop the firmware itself.
